Allow me to Introduce Myself:

My name is Perry Quartuccio. I’m 20 years old, and I’m a former college baseball player looking to make a difference in as many athletes’ lives that I can. I am currently a sophomore, studying psychology at Montclair State University (NJ) and seeking to earn a graduate degree in Sports Psychology. I’m an aspiring mental performance coach. That’s my typical introduction… a little biography about me, however, you could have read all of that on my “About” page.

This is my real introduction:

Late September, I was inspired to write a book. I wrote 4 pages, reached out to 10 people in regards to contributions to it and then I stopped writing just a few days later. I was too busy with Fall baseball. Document closed.

Fast forward 5 months:

Late February, I decided to hang up the cleats and quit college baseball. Life as a NARP (Non-Athletic Regular Person) has started to kick in. Let’s finally live the normal, college life.

Late March, I am in quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic; I have no idea what to do with myself. All I do is wake up, play Xbox, and do homework. It was time to find a new hobby. Maybe I can work on that book again. Document open.

Mid April, I clock in 4-5 hours of sleep, at most. I can barely sleep at night because there are too many thoughts and ideas for my book that keep creeping into my mind.

Late April, I am on page 89 of my eBook. I’ve now talked to numerous players and coaches on the collegiate and professional level. I’ve also had conversations with highly respected S&C coaches and nutritionists within the baseball community. The best part about my book-writing experience was that I’ve built relationships with all of these great people, some of which I’ve looked up to and used their content since high school. I’ve now established a launch date for my eBook (June 1) and I also made my own website.

8 months ago, I had no vision of what I wanted to do with my life. I didn’t imagine a life without baseball and I especially did not imagine that I’d write a book, let alone create my own website and write blogs too? Who the hell am I?

I’m Perry Quartuccio.
